Gins should remind you of Bombay sapphire/ Citadelle/ Hendricks/Quintessential for their flavors and for being easy to drink, and then come spicy or not so strong gins like Junipero /Bombay /Beefeaters to help keep those pockets loaded. When rum is to be the drink be partial towards Cruzan /Mount Gay/ Appleton /DePaz/El Dorado and when you need a cocktail pick Bacardi / Captain Morgan. Tequila reminds me of Herencia de Plata /Patron Reposado/Reyes Anejo/ Don Eduardo /30-30/Zafarrancho Silver and cocktails may plead for Jose Cuervo/10/El Ultimo. Best whiskeys available are Oban/Glen ord /Glenkinchie/J&B and then come the pocket considerate Johnny Walker black / Chivas regal/Jack Daniels. The Indians make Peter Scot whisky that rather tastes like rum, an attempt at readymade cocktail? But then like they say this is a list of preferences not one you need to open a bar.
